November 28, 2018

NSF International was named Company of the Year at last week’s prestigious SOFHT Awards, the annual awards ceremony run by the Society of Food Hygiene and Technology. Additionally, three NSF staff members received individual recognition: Tony Higginson was named Best Auditor, Claire Spencer won Best Food Technologist and Alison Mellor was a finalist in the food technologist category.

The Best Company win recognises NSF’s success in bringing to market innovative services that include EyeSucceed, the revolutionary smart glasses remote audit and training solution, and Clearview, the assurance scheme designed to assure safe and ethical working conditions for workers worldwide. The judges also cited NSF’s dedication to its mission to improve human health and to continuous improvement of its services to clients.

The Best Auditor award recognises demonstrated continued excellence in auditing knowledge, objectivity and pragmatism and in ensuring ongoing conformance with recognised audit standards. The Best Food Technologist award recognises outstanding or significant contributions in a particular field of work.

Rob Chester, NSF’s Managing Director of Food Services in the UK, said, “It is dedicated individuals like Tony, Claire and Alison who make our company successful. I am really proud of them, as well as our whole team who pull together to deliver the best services they can.”
